How do I reset my password?
Since kCal AI uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication, there is no separate password to reset. Simply sign in again using your Google or Apple account. If you're having trouble accessing your Google or Apple account, please visit their respective support pages.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Go to Settings โ your Apple ID/Google account โ Subscriptions โ kCal AI, then tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Is my data secure?
Yes! All your data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and stored securely on Supabase with row-level security policies. Authentication is handled through secure OAuth 2.0 providers (Google, Apple). We never sell your personal information to third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
How accurate is the AI food scanning?
Our AI uses OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision to analyze food photos and provide nutritional estimates. While highly accurate for most common foods, results are estimates and may vary based on portion size, preparation method, and specific ingredients. For best results, ensure good lighting and capture the entire meal in the photo. You can also manually adjust the results if needed.
Can I sync health data from my Apple Watch or fitness tracker?
Yes! kCal AI integrates with Apple HealthKit (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android) to read your steps, sleep, workouts, and burned calories. Grant permission during onboarding or in Settings โ Health Data. Your health data is synced securely and never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account deletion directly from the app's Settings page. Once confirmed, all your personal data, food logs, weight history, and meal images will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Note: active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play.
